What is BB's coat called?

Someone on RO said that the colour's a tort, but what kind of coat is it?
Satin or what?
It's really soft, kind of unbelievably soft & I think it retains heat because sometimes when it's a hot day, BB's fur/body is warmer than Zoro's (Angora)..
So what kind of coat is it?
